How to deal with the excessive temperature rise of the injection molding machine?

Ⅰ. Reasons for excessive temperature rise of injection molding machine:

  1. The volume of the oil tank is too small, the heat dissipation area is not enough, and the capacity of the cooling device is too small.
  2. For the fixed pump oil supply system, the oil pump capacity is selected according to the fast forward speed. During operation, most of the excess flow overflows the relief valve and heats up under high pressure.
  3. Since the unloading circuit in the system fails or the unloading circuit is not set, the oil pump cannot be unloaded when it stops working. All the flow of the pump overflows under high pressure, resulting in overflow loss and heating, resulting in temperature rise.
  4. The system pipeline is too thin, too long and too bent, and the local pressure loss and the pressure loss along the way are large.
  5. The accuracy of components is not enough, the assembly quality is poor, and the mechanical friction loss between movements is large.
  6. The fit clearance of fitting parts is too small, or the clearance is too large after wear, resulting in large internal and external leakage, resulting in large volume loss, such as reduced pump volume efficiency, rapid temperature rise, etc.
  7. The working pressure adjustment of the hydraulic system is much higher than the actual need. Leakage is sometimes increased due to too tight or damaged seals, and the pressure must be raised before work.
  8. The high temperature of the climate and the working environment causes the oil temperature to rise.
  9. Improper selection of oil viscosity, high viscosity, high viscosity resistance, too small viscosity will increase leakage, both of which will lead to heating and temperature rise.

II. Treatment method for excessive temperature rise of injection molding machine:

  1. Regularly check and adjust the pressure of the relief valve to make it just right according to different load requirements.
  2. Properly select the hydraulic oil, especially the oil viscosity. If conditions permit, try to use lower viscosity to reduce the friction loss of viscosity.
  3. Improve the lubrication conditions of moving parts, reduce friction losses, and help to reduce workload and heat.
  4. Improve the assembly quality and precision of hydraulic components and hydraulic system of injection molding machine, strictly control the fit clearance, and improve the lubrication conditions. The sealing material with small friction coefficient is adopted, the sealing structure is improved, the starting force of the hydraulic cylinder is reduced as much as possible, and the heat generated by mechanical friction loss is reduced.
